Electric Skyline Charity Challenge Relay 2019
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
On the 14 th of September, over 30 members of our staff will take part in a marathon challenge that will involve a relay of running, kayaking, cycling, and walking all the way from Killary Co. Galway to Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
To start off, our staff will partake in Gaelforce West from Killary to Westport, which also entails climbing Croagh Patrick. Following on from that they will run, cycle and walk from Westport to Claremorris to complete a full marathon. This is also a collaboration with a Foroige Leadership Module 3 Community Action Project by Tara Corcoran.
WHY ARE WE DOING IT?
Unfortunately, many people are affected by cancer in their daily lives and here at Electric Skyline we would like to make sure that nobody fights cancer alone. We are doing this fundraiser to support Cancer Care West in their fight against Cancer.
This event is a fantastic way to help and support a great charity like Cancer Care West. It is also an opportunity to bring our staff together to work as a team to reach our goal. We hope that our charity challenge will make a difference to people’s lives.
Our goal is to raise €20,000 for Cancer Care West.
We hope that this will ensure that nobody has to fight cancer alone.
