Electricians Required for ESB smart meter upgrade works program in Limerick.

Electric Skyline, as contractors for the smart metering upgrade program in the South, want to build a team for the future. We want to talk to potential candidates for smart meter upgrade works in Limerick commencing later this year (subject to COVID construction restrictions).

Role & Responsibilities

The successful electricians will be a key members of the smart meters project team, adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality service, being highly productive and mindful of costs. The successful candidates must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, team-based environment. The role is to upgrade ESB meters in both domestic and small commercial premises.

  • Commissioning Checks / Recording Procedure
  • Meter installation records – pre-condition checks, DSRA, existing meter records, new meter records
  • New meter stock issue and recouping old meters
  • Meter Installation works – carrying out supplementary installs and covering customer appointments
  • Meter replacement fitting process and procedures
  • Cable fitting and termination procedures
  • PPE & HSE
  • Customer liaison
  • Site management to meet KPI requirements

Ideal Candidate :
Essential Requirements

  • Level 6 Qualified Electrician
  • Full Clean Driving License
  • Able to work on own infinitive
  • Capable to pre-plan works
  • Safe Pass

Non Essential Requirements but Helpful

  • First Aid.
  • Previous experience with ESB network
