Job Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager of Limerick/Clare.  This role ensures that streetlights and other public lighting fixtures are functioning correctly and safely, enhancing public safety and visibility in public spaces.

Responsibilities:

Carry out night patrol of public lighting inventory per defined route.

Conduct regular patrols to inspect streetlights, traffic signals, and other public lighting fixtures.

Identify and document lighting outages, damages and other malfunctions

Accurate reporting of all findings and issues using designated reporting system

Communicate urgent issues to the Project Manager

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Familiarity with public lighting systems is desirable.

Strong observational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Basic proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for reporting

Comfortable driving for extended periods in various weather conditions

Certifications:

Full Clean driver’s license.
