This pivotal role is situated at our Regional Facility in Tullamore. The Stores Coordinator & General Operative will report directly to the Project Manager on-site, while also having a dotted-line reporting relationship with the Stores Coordinator at our Head Office in Claremorris.

The Tullamore facility was brought online to serve and augment our capacity to look after our existing customer base in the Midlands.

  • Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the Tullamore Store, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively while maintaining the highest housekeeping standards.
  • Liaise with group supply chain to optimise the procurement process.
  • Establish sufficient stocking levels to service the needs of the business.
  • Participate in daily/weekly supply chain and scheduling and planning meetings.
  • Learn to interface with Electric Skyline systems (ABM. Deadsure).
  • Build an excellent rapport across all departments in Electric Skyline sites.
  • Support the Midlands Team and Manager. The facility in Tullamore is very much in the start-up phase and support/backup may be required across other departments/functions as determined by the Project Manager.
  • Assist in managing & maintaining supplier-related documentation, issues, and metrics.
  • Development & management of the processes and controls around Cycle Counts and full facility Stock Counts.
  • Management and development of Materials Audit trail (systems) – right through from order, receipt, and delivery onsite to the Job.
  • Timely notification and contingency planning of any potential material shortages
  • Plan daily workload in line with job requirements/weekly schedule ensuring all materials are available each morning for PICW, ensure clear communications between various stakeholders across the business of any potential issues.
  • Assist with Maintaining Electric Skyline’s Fleet of Vehicles, & Tools and Machinery.
  • Support the smooth operation of on-site Jobs, by following safety protocols, transporting materials, aiding skilled workers as needed, helping civils, labelling poles etc. when required.

Stores Co-Ordinator & General Operative is a key position at our new facility in Tullamore. Sourcing, scheduling, and planning of materials to meet the needs of the business will be fundamental to this role. Excellent organisational and communication skills are required to effectively fill this role.

  • 2+ years’ experience in an industry-related role is desirable.
  • Demonstrated critical and effective decision-making skills with the ability to work on one’s own initiative to resolve competing priorities and with minimum supervision is required.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, which include but are not limited to presentation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, self -motivator, ability to adapt to change and good organizational skills are this role. Be a dedicated team member with the ability to identify and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Ability to organize and judge priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • C Driving License.
  • Experience with operating a forklift.
