Electric Skyline has recently completed the upgrade of lighting in Millennium Park on University road, as part of the upgrade of non-standard decorative lanterns in Galway city, to LED.
16 lanterns have been upgraded from 70W SON fittings to 32W LED fittings reducing electricity consumption by more than 50%. The new LEDs installed are an Urbis Schreder Flexia Midi Lantern with colour temperature changing cloud-based control for maximum controllability.
The public lighting columns have also been utilised to enable the provision of free WIFI for public within the park for the use of all patrons.
