Work has commenced on this scheme, which consists of the upgrade of the existing public lighting around Monahan road and Centre Park Road and is scheduled for completion in early summer 2022.
Groundworks have commenced adjacent to Pairc Ui Chaoimh. A combination of a Hi-Vacuum excavator and directional drilling are being used to provide the backbone for the new color-changeable lighting control system. The new lighting is scheduled to be in operation by early summer
