Electric Skyline recently completed a commercial solar PV installation for Platform 94, a Centre of Excellence supporting scaling technology businesses across the west and northwest of Ireland. Formerly known as the Galway Technology Centre, Platform 94 has been driving innovation and business growth in the region since 1994.

As part of their commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking operations, Platform 94 chose to invest in solar energy to reduce their environmental impact, lower energy costs, and set a strong example for the tech companies they support.

We installed 234 smart-optimised solar panels across 8 separate systems, delivering a combined output of 101.79 kWp. The smart monitoring capability gives Platform 94 full visibility into the system’s performance in real time.

Over the lifetime of the system, they are projected to save approximately €650,000 on electricity costs and offset over 26 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually — a significant contribution to both their financial sustainability and climate goals.
