Scoil Iognáid, established in 1971, is a co-educational, all-Irish Jesuit primary school located on Raleigh Row in the heart of Galway City. With an enrollment of 567 pupils, the school provides education entirely through the Irish language, fostering an environment where both teachers and students communicate in Irish daily. Scoil Iognáid is dedicated to nurturing each pupil’s intellectual, physical, cultural, moral, spiritual, social, and emotional development within a peaceful, caring atmosphere. Cooperation, courtesy, and good behavior are considered essential to the school’s effectiveness and the children’s growth.
The project encompassed the design, procurement, and installation of 14 solar panels with the goal of reducing energy costs and supporting sustainable practices. The installation was carried out smoothly, minimizing disruptions to the insurance company’s daily operations and ensuring an effortless shift to solar energy.
