Sligo Rovers FC are a professional football club based in Sligo. Founded in 1928, the club has a rich history and are a key part of the League of Ireland. Known for their passionate local support, Sligo Rovers play home matches at The Showgrounds, which has been their home ground since the club’s inception. They have won multiple domestic honors, including League of Ireland titles, FAI Cups, and League Cups.
The club is community-owned, emphasising local involvement and supporter engagement. Over the years, Sligo Rovers have gained a reputation for nurturing young talent and competing strongly in Irish football.
Sligo Rovers FC have separated their Floodlighting project into two phases. Phase one included the supply and installation of two 25 meter sports columns on the east side of the grounds facing into the main stand. Twenty 1.5kW UFEA standard LED lanterns have been connected to each column.
Fully project managed by the Sports Lighting team at Electric Skyline including lighting supply, installation, and all civil works.
