Adare GAA club located in Adare, County Limerick, was founded in 1929. The club competes in both hurling and Gaelic football, but it is particularly renowned for its success in hurling. Adare has won five Limerick Senior Hurling Championship titles, with victories in 2001, 2002, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Their dominance in the early 2000s solidified their reputation in Limerick hurling.

Some of the club’s most well-known players include Mark Foley, a key figure in Adare’s hurling success and a former Limerick county star, and Declan Hannon, who captained Limerick to multiple All-Ireland Hurling titles in recent years. Adare’s contributions to both club and county make it a prominent club in Limerick GAA history.

Adare had a full 500 lux LED floodlighting system installed. The 500 lux system is a requirement to host night time Hurling matches. It’s made up of eight 20m Sports Lighting Columns and fifty-two 1.5 kilo watt LED Floodlights that are spread across the columns. Electric Skyline looked after all the associated works including the cabling and switching controls along with the supply and installation of a new generator and fuel tank on the grounds here.
